Gardener of temple build in honor of Buddha’birth in Lumbini

Crossing the boarder between India and Nepal, I decided to visit the birthplace of Buddha first. The Terai is a crosscultural area where India and Nepal traditions merges to create an incredible atmosphere. Although the site of the birthplace itself is made of just a stone housed in a shrine, there is much more to see. Rent a bicycle and ride all around the temples built by Buddhist organizations worldwide. It’s nice to check the countryside all around especially during sunset.

Here I met amazing people who made me feel home and with whom I experienced an amazing introduction of Nepal.
